SXSW, News and Supports for the may tour
Greetings and salutations dear friends…..
Did i pull that off? I usually say hello/ hey all/ hi folks, but i wanted to try something different. I feel weird for doing so as i’m not classy enough to use a word like ‘salutations’. My entry to this piece of writing has left me feeling weird, it’s as if we have been on tour for a year and half straight and I’m starting to lose my……oh.
We have a month off before hitting the road for 1 last tour in support of ‘Scatterbrain’. We are really excited about the tour as we are visiting alot of places we haven’t been to in a while, especially on a headline run so please keep spreading the word about the tour and bring along as many friends as you possibly can. We recently got back from Austin Texas where we performed at SXSW Festival for the first time. We played some great shows and met some fantastic people, thankyou to all for making us feel so welcome whilst being so far away from home. Oh yeah, we also hungout with Tenacious D on a bridge watching bats fly. The word ‘surreal’ doesn’t cut it!
I am home with my family and giving my vocal chords much needed rest. Finally got round to listening to the new Springsteen record which is truly fantastic and i am knee deep in season 3 of Sons Of Anarchy. I hope Mikey Rourke makes a cameo appearance in season 5 therefore we can see what ‘Motorcycle Boy’ has been up to all these years. If you don’t get the reference, stop what you are doing, purchase ‘Rumble Fish’ and enjoy one of the greatest films ever made.
